poetry and architecture

In a space not far away
Horizontals and verticals went out to play
Foundation ran and hid in ground
Plinth covered it from all around
Zestful column ran on top
Preventing the beam from making the drop
Walls decided to circle around
Windows clapped with awe stuck sound
Door panels flirted with frames
Light and shadow kept playing their games
Seamless flow of long corridor
Vanishing boundaries of walls and floors
Cantilever with it’s arms spread wide
Waited for beams to catch it’s glide
Courtyards made unconstrained gossips
And kept a note of vestibule’s trip
Interdependence of length and height
People say it’s an architectural delight!
